In 2009, the City of Grimes is working with RDG Planning & Design, Inc. to prepare a new Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the community. This process is a very important one, as the plan will largely guide the type and location of development for areas within the incorporated areas of Grimes and in areas of likely future annexation. Throughout the planning process there will be ample opportunity for businesses, citizens, and other area stakeholders to provide valuable input, which ultimately will enhance the final document.
