The Grimes Leadership Academy (GLA) is an intense 10-month leadership experience.

Practical tools for giving and receiving clear, respectful, and productive feedback to improve workplace dynamics. - Building a Resilient and Authentic Leadership Style:
Strategies to lead with authenticity, resilience, and purpose, even in the face of uncertainty and challenges. - Promoting Inclusivity and Collaboration:
Insights on fostering an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are valued and collaboration thrives. - Mastery of Emotional Agility:
Techniques to recognize and manage emotions effectively, ensuring sound decision-making and stronger interpersonal relationships. - Actionable Tools for Building Trust:

Participants will benefit from the shared experience, connecting with other local leaders and fostering lasting professional relationships.
- Cultivation of Courageous Leadership Skills:
- Each GLA participant will come away from their GLA experience with a much greater understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges present in the Grimes community.
- Each GLA participant will expand his/her network of relationships as he/she will spend approximately 100 hours with other individuals within the Grimes business and non-profit community.
Assuming the GLA participant whom you support takes advantage of the numerous opportunities afforded by the GLA, your business’ investment will be rewarded because your team member will be a more effective, more educated, and more engaged leader.
While the leadership curriculum which has been outlined will be incorporated into every day, there will also be overarching themes for each of our sessions. While these are subject to change, we anticipate that the sessions will include the following:
